The second meeting of the modernized dialogue mechanism between China and the European Union on export control was held in Beijing, China's Ministry of Commerce announced.
The talks were conducted by the head of the Bureau of Industry and Security and Export Controls of China's Ministry of Commerce, Jiang Qianliang, and Deputy Director General of the European Commission's Directorate-General for Trade, Denis Redonnet. The parties held "deep and constructive communication in the field of export control," it was reported.
Representatives of Beijing and Brussels agreed to "continue maintaining contacts and exchanges, as well as to promote the stability and smooth operation of Chinese-European industrial chains and supply chains."
