From Armenia’s perspective, this also serves as an important signal of trust, indicating that competitive institutions integrated into global markets are being formed in our country. Achievements of this kind contribute to strengthening the country’s economic reputation.
In your view, what significance will Lion Finance Group’s inclusion in the FTSE 100 have for the region, particularly given that one of the Group’s companies operates in Armenia and the other operates in Georgia?
The Group’s presence in the Armenian and Georgian markets demonstrates that it is possible to build a business environment and institutional capacity in the region that meet the expectations of international investors and capital markets. This development may contribute to increased confidence in the region and to the perception of the South Caucasus as an attractive and promising destination not only for local but also for international capital. In this regard, it creates an important prerequisite for deepening regional economic ties, attracting new investments, and expanding financial cooperation.
What impact could Ameriabank’s inclusion in the FTSE 100, as part of LFG, have on Armenia’s economy and investment attractiveness?

It enhances confidence in Armenia’s financial environment and business culture. As a result, it may support the inflow of new capital and contribute to broader recognition of Armenia’s economic potential.
