YEREVAN. – There are closed and difficult-to-drive roads in Armenia, as of Saturday 9 a.m.

Selim Mountain Pass and the Berd-Chambarak Highway are closed. The Talin-Maralik and Aragats-Artik motorways are difficult to pass due to snowstorm and low visibility. There is blizzard on the Gyumri-Spitak highway, too. And there are icy roads on some parts of Kotayk Region and Alaverdi city, the Transport and Communication Ministry informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

And according to the information which the Ministry of Emergency Situations received from Georgia’s Emergency Situations Department, as of Saturday at 9 a.m., Georgia’s Mtskheta-Stepantsminda-Larsi Highway, which leads to the Armenian border, is closed.
