  • The war will continue until Iran is paid compensation for damages and all economic sanctions against Iran are lifted. In addition, Iran must receive international legal guarantees of non-interference in its internal affairs. This was stated by a military adviser to Iran's Supreme Leader Mohsen Rezaei.
  • Trump announced the start of negotiations with Iran after allies warned that the war threatens catastrophe, Bloomberg writes. Donald Trump's decision to back down from his threat to destroy Iran's energy infrastructure came after US allies and Gulf states privately warned the president of the dangers of carrying out his threat.
