Pakistani Air Force aircraft have violated Afghan airspace, Afghan television channel TOLO News reported citing Afghan military officials.

"Air defense systems are firing at Pakistani military aircraft in the north of the country," TOLO News quoted 209th Army Corps "Al-Fatah" spokesman Hammad Wisal as saying on X.

The channel also reports that despite a declared ceasefire during the Eid al-Fitr holiday, Pakistani attacks on certain areas of Afghanistan continued.

The ceasefire between the countries expired on March 23. Neither side has announced an extension of the truce.
