A victory by Civil Contract in the elections and Pashinyan's re-election will lead Armenia into a new war. This was stated by former Armenian Ombudsman and head of the "Wings of Unity" political initiative, Arman Tatoyan, at a press conference on March 24.

According to him, Pashinyan's threats about the inevitability of war in the event of his defeat should be examined by law enforcement, as they run counter to Armenia's interests and, in the event of aggression, would benefit Azerbaijan.

Tatoyan noted that Pashinyan is "playing" on people's fears. "But it is another matter that Pashinyan does not think about mothers and their fears at all — he only knows that fears exist and uses them as a tool ahead of the elections to make people think there is no way out and nothing can be changed. Pashinyan's party is the party of war. If he is re-elected, Armenia faces a real war. Pashinyan and Civil Contract either do not understand, or, understanding, act deliberately — constant concessions to Azerbaijan are an open invitation to go further, to demand more, especially when, as the Armenian authorities do, the truth is concealed from the international community. They do not believe in the strength of the people and do everything to further weaken it, driven by their own defeatist psychology," Tatoyan emphasized.
