Coordinates of Azerbaijani force fortifications on Armenia's sovereign territory were sent to the Armenian Ministry of Defense. This was stated by former Ombudsman and head of the "Wings of Unity" political movement Arman Tatoyan at a press conference on March 24, responding to a question about the Defense Ministry's denial of data he had previously published regarding the infiltration and entrenchment of Azerbaijani forces on Armenian territory.
"For several months, we studied the data from Chinese and French satellites and established that after July 2025, there was both infiltration into Armenian territory and the fortification of positions. The Defense Ministry lied, reducing everything to a single position — and even there they were dishonest," the politician said, adding that the position whose fortification the Defense Ministry denied covers nearly 9 hectares. "We provided them with coordinates from both Chinese and French satellites. Google Maps is created based on this data. Fortifications are not visible on maps, but they are visible on satellite imagery. If they cannot tell the difference between maps and imagery, we can conduct a training session for them," Tatoyan offered. According to him, the Armenian side's denial clearly helped the Azerbaijanis by whitewashing their actions and concealing them from view.
Earlier, Tatoyan stated that in August 2025, Azerbaijan established a new position on Armenian territory in Gegharkunik. Defense Minister Suren Papikyan, speaking in parliament, called Tatoyan's claims false, and the ministry's press service published a video refuting them.
