A “fragment” from a ballistic missile launched from Iran struck a chemical plant in Israel’s south on Sunday, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said, reports The Times of Israel.
The “fragment” caused no injuries but sparked a blaze and prompted concerns of a hazardous chemicals leak.
After the fire was brought under control, the Israeli Environmental Protection Ministry said that there was no risk to the public.
