On March 30, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov held a telephone conversation with Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi, the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry reported.

During the call, both sides expressed deep concern over the ongoing escalation in the region.

They emphasized the need to intensify diplomatic efforts aimed at achieving a swift end to military clashes.

The ministers also exchanged views on issues of the bilateral agenda of mutual interest.
