Negotiations between the Iranian and American delegations on resolving the conflict have begun in Islamabad, according to the ISNA news agency.

Tasnim news agency, for its part, noted that the Iranian delegation agreed to participate in this round of talks with Pakistani mediation despite distrust of the opposing side and taking into account the US track record of breaking commitments in previous negotiations.
