Germany has publicly stated that it does not interfere in the military operations of the US and Israel against Iran, but between February 28 and March 27 it sold 6.6 million euros worth of weapons to Israel, DPA news agency reported, making a reference to information provided by the German government in response to a German MP's inquiry.

This is not about heavy weapons, however. Germany usually avoids supplying weapons to warring parties, although it sometimes makes exceptions—as in the case of Ukraine.

Berlin had suspended its arms sales to Israel in early 2025 due to the Gaza conflict, but resumed them after the implementation of the peace plan.
