A considerable part of the problems of the judicial sphere in Armenia will not be possible to resolve without the adoption of a new constitution. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this at Thursday’s session of the National Assembly, during the debates on the 2025 report on the progress and results of the implementation of the 2021-2026 program of the Armenian government.

“I believe that a significant part of the problems of the judicial sphere will not be possible to resolve without the adoption of a new constitution, because with that inertia, the state of stagnation will continue continuously. And constitutional regulations are needed so that we can put aside these very artificial shells and face the current situation in the [Armenian] judicial system,” Pashinyan said.
