Internet connectivity has been almost completely absent in Iran for more than 58 days, informs the international internet security and monitoring service NetBlocks.

“Iran's internet blackout has now entered its 59th day after 1392 hours of near-total disconnection from the outside world,” NetBlocks wrote on X.

This is the longest nationwide internet shutdown ever recorded in any country in the history of global monitoring.
