YEREVAN. - The Youth Union of oppositional Armenian People’s Party (APP) released an announcement about the conference which took place during February 24-26 in Tsakhkadzor, Armenia.
Earlier the youth unions of numerous Armenian Parties came up with a statement stressing that they will work in the framework of tolerance and will fight against injustices during elections.
As an answer to this, the APP youth union came up with a statement.
“Tolerance can be only established in the atmosphere of equality. But as long as persecutions are going on against us and our followers, as long as the government has not punished those who commited crimes during past elections, as long as the organizers of April 12, 2004, events and murderers of March 1, 2008, tragedy were not punished, it is absurd to talk about tolerance,” the APP youth union’s statement reads.
