YEREVAN. – As soon as the new ruling coalition was created, economic growth did not exceed 2 per cent, not to mention the 14 percent economic recession in 2009, Heritage MP Armen Martirosyan announced in parliament on Tuesday.

Talking about overcoming poverty, he mentioned that currently the minimal poverty rate is 36 percent.

According to him, the fact that there is more than 60 percent poverty in Armenia is true.

“I call to the ruling coalition. These responsibilities are part of the many promises you did not fulfill. You have leaded the country to the threshold of losing statehood that is why you have to leave and give space to the real reformers,” Martirosyan said.
