They don't make concessions with terrorists. This is how Bagrat Mikoyan, the head of the office of the second president of Armenia Robert Kocharyan, commented on the question of a possible deal in the “illegal asset case.”

Speaking with reporters, responding to the remark that Robert Kocharyan will soon be in pretrial detention for a month, Mikoyan noted that he regrets that the second month may also be over, but the fact that this is the fourth detention of the second president is clear evidence that there will be no deals.

He called the detention of two members of one family “Stalinist-style” actions. The struggle will continue, there is no tragedy, the tragedy is happening and will still happen to the country, Mikoyan noted, meaning the consequences of the Armenian authorities' policy.

Speaking about the fact that the ruling majority in parliament and members of the government, headed by Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, devote the lion's share of their speeches to Robert Kocharyan, the head of his office left the opportunity to comment in more detail to the MP of the opposition "Armenia" faction, since "they serve in the political Chernobyl."

According to him, the PM Pashinyan likes the phrase "KGB basement" very much, and he devotes 80-90 percent of his speeches to the former president sent there, instead of dealing with the solution of millions of problems facing Armenia.

Commenting on Pashinyan's threats and promises to take away the shoes from the opposition, which remained in the memory of those watching the parliamentary session, Mikoyan compared Pashinyan to Cinderella and nearly praised his acting skills. As for the attacks on the opposition for the spelling error in the word "hakhtanak" (victory), the head of Robert Kocharyan’s office reminded that this word can be misspelled by those who are winning that very victory.

And he advised pro-government figures to learn to spell the word "kombikorm" correctly. "There will be no deals and concessions in the case. Two people from one family are detained. This is hostage-taking and terrorism. And as you know, they don't make concessions with terrorists," Bagrat Mikoyan concluded.
