YEREVAN. – A young man attempted to commit a suicide by jumping off the fifth floor at 9.00 p.m. in Tigran Mets Street in Yerevan on Tuesday. Police, Ambulance Service and Emergency Ministry employees were trying to persuade him for a long time not to commit a suicide and they eventually succeeded in it.

People gathered at the site claimed that the man is a Sari Tagh resident. It was his fourth suicide attempt, they told Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent.

Rescuer Viktoria, who had taken the man to a safe place, told the agency that his name is Grigor and she has rescued his life for three times.

People also claimed that the man was suffering mental disorders and it caused him to commit a suicide.
