YEREVAN. – Armenia’s President Serzh Sargsyan approached the protesting people following the ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) executive body session and listened to their complaints. The protestors, who were residents of the Byuzand Street and who lost their houses claimed that a residential building has been built in the same place where their houses used to be, however, they were not granted with apartments.
Sargsyan said that a crime has indeed occurred as money was collected from more people than there were apartments available.
“The issue should be settled the way so that no one suffers,” the president assured adding everything is done to settle the issue as fast as possible.
