YEREVAN.- Presidential candidate Raffi Hovannisian held meetings on Wednesday with voters in Erebuni district of Yerevan.

Unlike other candidates, Hovannisian is not gathering voters in a certain place. He is visiting public places like shops and dentist clinics, is approaching people in the streets.

He urges people to participate in the election regardless of the candidate they want to vote for. Touring small shops in Erebuni, Hovannisian was told they have fewer costumers because of supermarkets. The owners, however, did not complain about tax service.

In his turn, candidate promised to cut extra expenses of the budget, the income of shadow economy will be  returned in the form of pensions and salaries.

“In addition, small businesses will be exempt from taxes for two or three years,” he added.
