The President also proposed that Defense Minister Seyran Ohanyan and Foreign Minister likewise remain in their current posts.
All proposals were accepted unanimously, RPA Press Secretary, National Assembly Deputy Speaker Eduard Sharmazanov told news reporters.
As Armenian News-NEWS.am informed earlier, pursuant to the Constitution of Armenia, Premier Tigran Sargsyan on April 9 submitted the Government’s resignation to President Serzh Sargsyan.
After reassuming the office of the President of Armenia on the same day, Serzh Sargsyan signed his first decree, and accepted the Government’s resignation, but he asked its members to continue working until the new Government is formed; they were considered acting ministers.
