YEREVAN. – We need to do everything so that Armenia would not become a member in that useless and unpromising Customs Union.

Opposition Republic Party Chairman and former PM Aram Sargsyan told the aforesaid to news reporters at Saturday’s founding re-establishment congress of opposition Armenian National Movement.

He underscored that there should be a plan whereby the youth, who represent Armenia’s future, will have the opportunity to live a life that is consistent with European and universal values. 

As per Sargsyan, the European Union, unlike the Customs Union, is an established institution.

“We want to make a choice in a matter where we want one thing, [but] they obligate us in the other. I am against any coercion, especially if it has no future,” Aram Sargsyan stated.
