The US President Barack Obama arrived to Germany on a working visit . Obama and the German Chancellor Angela Merkel will open the industrial fair in Hannover , RIA Novosti reports . The Hanover Fair that covers areas of industrial technologies is considered to be the largest in the world.

This year the United States is a partner of the fair. Obama’s visit to Germany was a part of his world tour. Before that he visited Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom . Tens thousands of people gathered in front of the fair to protest against concluding a free trade agreement between the EU and the US . 90 thousand people and about 35 thousand policemen went to the streets to provide security.
