YEREVAN. – President of Grand Candy company Karen Vardanyan has donated two Japanese Jeeps Reanimobils and additional winter tires with total cost of 34 million AMD to Muratsan children hospital.

The amount has been allocated to pediatric and neonatal intensive care unit in order to decrease the newborns mortality cases.

The vehicles are necessarily equipped and customized to the Armenian roads.

There was not enough space in the departments for admitting the newborns with health problems. For enlarging and repairing neonatal intensive care and pathology departments, the benefactor also allocated 20 million AMD.

More than 600 newborns who are in need of intensive care, not only from Armenia but Artsakh, annually get treatment in the hospital.

The total amount of assistance is 54 million AMD.
