YEREVAN. – There will be a velvet revolution in Armenia, and the people’s mobilization is needed for this.

Opposition “Way Out” Faction MP Sasun Mikayelyan on Tuesday told the aforementioned to reporters at the National Assembly.

But at the same time, he considered it probable that after April 2018, when Serzh Sargsyan’s presidency will conclude, he will assume the office of Prime Minister.

“A velvet revolution definitely shall happen, but foundations should be created for this,” Mikayelyan said. “And in 2018, I’m convinced that he [Sargsyan] will be Prime Minister.”

Also, the opposition MP stated that the Armenian opposition and society should take measures together to come out of the present-day situation.
