US Evanston Township school freshman Blake Peters became a local star after his 80-foot shot that gives his team a 45-44 win over Maine South, WHNT19.reported.
“It looked good when I saw it, and then when it went in I was shocked,” Blake said. “It was probably the best moment of my life.”
Mayor of Evanston also congratulated Blake by announcing “Blake Peters Day” on January 29.
