India on Sunday morning successfully tested the Agni-5 intercontinental ballistic missile, reported ANI news agency.
Agni-5 is capable of transporting nuclear warheads weighing more than one ton, and this ballistic missile can be used also for transporting satellites into orbit.
This is India’s sixth successful test-firing of a ballistic missile; its last respective launch was conducted on January 18.
