As of today, I will begin discussions with the representatives of the parliamentary forces, on the topic of snap parliamentary elections, in working procedure for now.
Armenia’s Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated the aforesaid during his Facebook livestream on Monday.
“At the next phase, they [the discussions] will take place formally,” he added. “Nonetheless, there is no difference in them because we know what we will speak about. We will discuss how, with what methods we shall achieve parliamentary elections soon.”
Also, Pashinyan expressed the hope that they will succeed in reaching an agreement with the parliamentary forces regarding this matter, and therefore there would be no need to ask for people’s assistance.
“[But] if there will be such a need, I hope that you will all be ready to show your support—in this or that way—to this political process too,” the PM added addressing the people.
