I think that we will come to an agreement and early parliamentary elections will be held, Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during his conversations with journalists in parliament.
The PM said he thinks that other political forces won’t nominate a candidate after his resignation. “If they will nominate a candidate, they will anger the people. It won’t be bad if a deal is made. I think all decisions will be made according to the situation,” Pashinyan told reporters in the parliament.
Earlier in the day the Armenian parliament pushed through controversial bill on rules of procedure with 67 votes ‘for’ ’. Armenian PM called on the citizens to gather in Baghramyan Avenue and surround the building of the parliament.
