Edmon Marukyan, a member of the “Way Out” (Yelk) Faction at the National Assembly of Armenia, has addressed at the first meeting of the European Union-Armenia Partnership Committee at the European Parliament.
In his remarks, the MP reflected on the present-day political situation in Armenia, and the draft amendments to the country’s election law.
With respect to the political situation in Armenia, Marukyan said the country is now in the process of adopting a new electoral code.
And as for election observation, he asked their partners at the European Parliament to come to Armenia as observers, and to observe the forthcoming snap parliamentary election to be conducted in the country.
