YEREVAN. – Since acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan—during his address at the parliament—did not mention the names of the MPs who are suspected of crimes, one should not make any groundless statement.

Armen Rustamyan, head of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF) Dashnaktsutyun Party faction at the National Assembly (NA), stated the aforesaid during Friday’s briefings at parliament.

Rustamyan added that he is not informed about the process of the ongoing respective investigation.

At the same time, he stressed that no lawmaker should think that if he has a parliamentary mandate and immunity, everything is permissible for him.

At Wednesday’s NA session, acting PM Nikol Pashinyan stated that the Armenian society will soon learn about the biggest corruption discovery in the history of the third Republic of Armenia. He added that this was about a particular MP, but Pashinyan did not give the name of this lawmaker.
