During My Step alliance’s campaigning in Armavir city of Armavir Province, acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, who heads the electoral list of this political force in Sunday’s snap parliamentary election in Armenia, on Tuesday proposed to observe a minute’s silence and pay tribute to the two pilots who died in the crash of a fighter aircraft on the same day.
“Of course, the incident shall be investigated,” Pashinyan added. “I want to extend my condolences to the fellow servicemen, relatives, close friends, of the fallen pilots.”
As reported earlier, a Sukhoi Su-25 fighter aircraft of the Armenian Air Force crashed Tuesday morning, nearby Karaberd village of Maralik town in Shirak Province, and while conducting a training flight.
Armenian Air Force pilots Armen Babayan and Movses Manukyan died in the crash.
