On Tuesday at 8:23pm, the 911 emergency hotline of Armenia received a call that that grass was on fire between Khnatsakh and Vaghatur villages, in Syunik Province.
A fire and rescue squad was dispatched to the scene.
The fire was isolated at 11:40pm, and then it extinguished on its own.
About 15 hectares of grass, however, had burnt in the fire.
Eight residents of Khnatsakh village also had joined the firefighting.
