TBILISI. – Those killed in Saturday morning’s van accident in Georgia are Armenian citizens, according to the press service of the Embassy of Armenia in Georgia.

As per the respective statement which the embassy has issued, this van, which was transporting passengers from Yerevan to Batumi, had an accident Saturday between 2am and 3am, near the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi.

According to preliminary information, two Armenian nationals were killed.

The other passengers have sustained injuries and are hospitalized in Tbilisi.

Diplomats of the Armenian embassy in Georgia are in the hospitals and in constant contact with the physicians.
