YEREVAN. – Eighteen Armenians were affected by the accident of the van that was transporting passengers from Yerevan to Batumi, and two of them have died, the Ministry of Health of Armenia reported.
The medical treatment of seven persons continues in Georgian hospitals. It is reported that four of them are in very critical condition, and the other three—in satisfactory condition.
Nine others received appropriate medical care and were discharged.
The Ministry of Health continues to be in contact with its Georgian associates, with respect to transporting the injured to Armenia and arranging their medical assistance.
As reported earlier, a passenger van that was en route from Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan to Batumi, Georgia, had an accident Saturday between 2am and 3am, near the Georgian capital city of Tbilisi.
