I am certain that Henrikh Mkhitaryan will continue to play for the Armenian national football team. This is what Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Arayik Harutyunyan told journalists today when asked how he treats the rumors that leading player of the Armenian national football team Henrikh Mkhitaryan may no longer play for the team, especially when the footballer’s mother had stated that she was offended and that after all that, Henrikh had to decide whether he will play for the team or not.

“I believe the painful situation concerning the Football Federation is already in the past. I fully hope that all the processes that took place will remain in the past. I am certain that Henrikh Mkhitaryan will continue to play for the Armenian national football team,” Arayik Harutyunyan said.
