The authorities were shocked when they realized that the judges of the Constitutional Court of Armenia would not comply with their requirements, ex-Minister of Justice of Armenia David Harutyunyan said Friday.
"They should have taken some steps under these conditions. Now, with regard to the head of the Constitutional Court, and in the future there will be similar steps with regard to members of the Constitutional Court," Harutyunyan said, adding that he has no doubt that all these actions are directed against the head of the Constitutional Court Hrayr Tovmasyan.
The Special Investigation Service in the building of the Constitutional Court is interrogating its chair Hrayr Tovmasyan, amid protests near the courtyard.
