The pace and volumes of the fight against corruption are still a matter of concern, but this is all relative. This is what Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan stated during a question-and-answer session with government officials in parliament today.

“During a recent event dedicated to Special Investigation Service Day, I found out that the Special Investigation Service has restored so much damage caused to the state in the past 10 months as much as it has restored throughout its existence. However, we have to state that our efforts to retrieve all the stolen money are not sufficiently effective, and there are objective and subjective reasons, but we are making legislative amendments to facilitate the process,” he said and stated the limited capacities of experts as an objective obstacle, as well as the problem with the judiciary.
