President of Armenia Armen Sarkissian today hosted Rima Demirtchyan, widow of National Hero of Armenia, state and political figure Karen Demirtchyan and Director of the Karen Demirtchyan Charitable Foundation, as reported the press service of the President.

The head of state congratulated Mrs. Demirtchyan on International Women’s Day and wished her health and all the best.

President Sarkissian and Mrs. Demirtchyan shared memories of the late Karen Demirtchyan, and President Sarkissian highly appreciated the activities of Karen Demirtchyan as a state and political figure.

Mrs. Demirtchyan informed that the Museum of Karen Demirtchyan is preparing a book devoted to him that will feature materials devoted to Karen Demirtchyan, photos of him, his correspondence and memories. She also asked the President to help publish the book, and the President gladly agreed.
