The explosion in a house in Yerevan Monday morning was caused by the explosion of a propane gas cylinder. Ruben Hakobyan, a representative of the Gazprom Armenia company, told Armenian News-NEWS.am this at the scene
"A 20-kilogram [propane] gas cylinder was connected there, from which a fast water heater was connected. There was a leak from the cylinder or connections, liquefied gas was filled [into the house], which resulted in an explosion with the presence of open flame. That is, in all likelihood, the house was flooded with liquefied gas," he said.
