Two days ago an agreement was reached with the police that the citizens evicted from the former Defense Ministry building would be allowed to set up two tents for children and women near the building, Garnik Danielyan, a member of the opposition Armenia parliamentary faction, said in a live Facebook post.

"One of the tents was for small children, women, nursing mothers, and the other tent was for everyone else. The next day, the police refused to put up a second tent, reasoning that it was not worth putting up a tent, it would cause people to stay here for a long time. Now we are here again. The situation is disturbing, to say the least. The problems that were there have intensified, the number of sick children has increased," he said.
