YEREVAN. – Parents of servicemen who died in the Army and ‘Army in Reality’ initiative held demonstration in front of the Armenian government on Thursday. Police and the protesters collided during the motion.

The protesters claimed their peaceful demand that Armenian authorities do nothing to clarify the circumstances, in which their sons died.

Parliamentary oppositional Heritage Party MP Zaruhi Postanjyan has also joined the demonstration.

“The response by the authorities is just inadmissible. It was estimated by NGOs but the statements should be legally estimated, as it threatens not only NGOs but also the society. It can be assumed that authorities have also participated in those crimes and even sponsor the perpetrators,” Postanjyan said in response to Armenian News-NEWS.am regarding the situation in the Army and the response of Armed Forces administration.

During the demonstration Armenian Police Chief Alik Sargsyan came out of the governmental building passed through demonstrators but left without speaking to them.
