YEREVAN. – A serviceman Hovhannes Yesayan, 19, serving in Tavush Region, called hot line of “We Won’t Keep Silent” initiative on Wednesday and expressed his fear of the affair made against him.

“He said that he has rebelled against the existing discrimination in the military unit, thus making his commanders angry.

According to the servicemen, they try to use domestic dispute by dealing him shortly and sending him to the court. Heads of the military unit supplied the court with the wrong documents, and as a result Yesayan will serve two-months of imprisonment.

The court verdict has already entered into power, while heads of the military unit do not give it to the serviceman to run out the 10 days’ period intended for the court appeal.

The telephone conversation is registered according to the serviceman’s desire and sent to Armenian MOD on Thursday,” the statement by the initiative reads.
