The Standing Committee on European Integration of the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia is debating—at its meeting Monday—on the bill on the start of Armenia's European Union (EU) membership process.
The proposed law is being presented by Artak Zeynalyan, a member of the Republic Party, one of the initiators of this bill.
The Evrakve initiative group had collected about 60 thousand signatures to start Armenia's EU membership process. The government has approved this bill, which has already passed in the first reading in the NA.
