A delegation led by Valentina Matvienko, speaker of the Federal Council of the Federal Assembly of Russia, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial in Yerevan on Friday.
The delegation, which is in the Armenian capital on an official visit, was accompanied by Alen Simonyan, speaker of the National Assembly of Armenia, the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.
The Russian ambassador to Armenia, Sergey Kopyrkin, was also among their accompanying persons.
