Our flight was supposed to be on Sunday with Air Arabia, but we barely managed to get a ticket today. One of the passengers who arrived in Yerevan on the Dubai-Yerevan flight stated this in an interview with Armenian News-NEWS.am Thursday morning.

“The saddest [thing] is that this state [i.e. Armenia] does not evacuate its citizens, but offers to return with very expensive [airline] tickets, via Oman. This is, of course, a very sad fact. The cost of a ticket via Oman had already become about $1,500, whereas each ticket with flydubai cost about 210 thousand drams,” the passenger added.

The passenger, who did not want to be identified, also said that they saw the missiles in the sky and even took pictures.

"There were sounds of explosions, missiles at night, but the [Dubai] city was generally quieter," said the passenger.

Earlier, Armenian News-NEWS.am reported that the first flight from Dubai to Yerevan has landed in Yerevan after the closure of the airspace of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
