YEREVAN. – A roundtable discussion entitled “Towards the [Armenian parliamentary] Elections” is convened in the capital Yerevan. 

Speaking at the event, Armenia’s Police Chief Vladimir Gasparyan noted that the priority issue is the formation of the citizens’ trust toward the Police.

“In this connection I already have instructed so that any person who obstructs this process during the election season be prevented, and I call upon the citizens to inform the Police in case of any violation,” Gasparyan said. 

At the same time Armenia’s Police Chief stressed the importance of the Police Force’s cooperation with the election campaign headquarters and the political forces.   

In this regard, Vladimir Gasparyan assured that the Police will carry out its share of the activities on a high level. “I bear personal responsibility,” he underscored.   

Also, the Police Chief informed that the Police Force has formed a headquarters which will follow the entire election process.
