YEREVAN. – Brief rain and thunderstorms are expected for Armenia between Saturday and Monday in the evening hours, and primarily in the northern regions.

The winds will blow from the southwest and at a velocity of 2-7 m/second, but this will increase to 15-20 m/second during the thunderstorms.   

The temperatures will rise by 1-3 Celsius on Saturday and Sunday, the Ministry of Emergency Situations informed Armenian News-NEWS.am.

There is a probability of brief rainfall and thunderstorms in the capital Yerevan between Saturday and Monday, with a higher wind velocity of 13-18 m/second during the thunderstorms.
