YEREVAN. – Armenia’s police released a statement on April 29 crash between the environmentalist-activists and police.

“Armenia’s police inform the society that they launch investigation on the occasion of the April 29 crash in the Mashtots Park in downtown Yerevan. The police inform that they will examine the events in the park on the aforesaid day and give the legal estimation of it. In particular, some people were injured during the crash and they were assigned to pass a forensic-medical examination, while others were invited to police for explanations,” the statement reads.

To note, the activists and police crashed, as a result seven activists were detained, while one was injured.
