YEREVAN. – The opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party evaluates positively the course of the campaigning for Sunday’s National Assembly elections in Armenia, ARF Supreme Body member Spartak Seyranyan told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

“There will be no victories or defeats in the parliamentary elections. At present, there is a working atmosphere in the Party,” Seyranyan added.

According to him, the political forces’ campaigning stood out by the fact that the contention was not between ideas and programs, but in altogether another direction.

The ARF Dashnaktsutyun Party’s proportional list includes 85 candidates. Eight candidates will run for an MP seat with majority system. The party’s motto is “Freedom, Justice, Dashnaktsutyun [Federation].”

Eight political parties and one block have presented their nominations.

The election campaign will be held till Saturday, the day prior to elections when campaigning is banned. The parliamentary elections will be held Sunday from 8am to 8pm.
