YEREVAN.- A joint headquarters set to monitor the elections processes held a regular meeting on Friday.

A statement to create a single headquarters to monitor election processes was earlier signed by the Prosperous Armenia Party (ruling coalition member), opposition ARF Dashnaktsutyun, Heritage and Armenian National Congress (ANC).  However, later Heritage party withdrew from the headquarters.

Head of the Union of Political Scientists Hmayak Hovhannisyan said during the meeting they would have to sum up the election campaign and discuss issues on the appeal to Armenia’s Constitutional Court.

Thirty MPs of the joint headquarter, including Prosperous Armenia Party (PAP) and ARF Dashnaktsutyun, signed an application to the Constitutional Court asking permission to allow publishing the voting lists of citizens participating in the elections.

Hovhannisyan also said that the headquarters would work 24 hours on the Election Day.

“We have opened a website of joint headquarters Monitoring.polotlogos.am.  A screen connected to all cameras installed in the polling stations would be placed in the headquarters office,” he added.
